Boating

Last summer Conner only went out on the boat once because he absolutely hated the lifejacket (which is kind of a must). This year seems to be a lot better. He does not mind the life jacket as much and loves walking up and down the boat while we are cruising with his Nana. He gets to sit on his PopPop's lap (grandpa) and drive the boat and tries to push as many buttons as possible. He is still not a huge fan of driving fast because of the wind, but by the end of the summer I think he will be a boating pro.

Mother's Day

Conner, Andrew and I had a great Mother's Day. We started out with Conner's swim class, then home for a nap and once that was completed off to the zoo (with about half of Seattle). Conner had so much fun seeing the animals and there were so many things that he could interact with and play with. One of my favorite memories of the day was Conner playing the drums and dancing in the African Village. They have an African Village complete with a stage with drums. Conner loves drums, so he put on a little show for about 15 people. Drumming, only stopping to dance to the music by swaying, twirling and shaking his booty. He had everyone clapping and laughing which only encouraged him to dance and drum more. My little performer!
