Gymboree

Conner and I have joined Gymboree and Conner has an absolute blast. He just runs all over the place going up and down all of the obstacles laughing the whole way. My Dad came to class today and took some great pictures of Conner.

My Baby is 1!

Happy Birthday to my amazing little boy! You are now walking pretty much everywhere, falling every so often but getting right up again. You love to point at everything and ask what it is by grunting and looking at us. Peek a boo is still one of your favorite games, especially with your daddy's hat. You love to point at my nose and then your nose, my mouth and then your mouth continuing all over the face. Joe Joe our cat is your favorite friend and you absolutely delight when you can pat him or pull his tail. You are not such a fan when he catches you with his claws, but you keep going back for more. You still like to scare your parents by climbing on everything. You can move your toys around so that you can stand on the highest point, but somehow also know how to get down again. You don't have any words yet but you definitely understand what we say. You can wave 'Bye Bye' and give 'High Five'. You now have 10 teeth, including 2 molars that are coming in. I can feel another molar just under the surface. Even when you are teething you are such a happy boy with a great sense of humor. You turned 1 on Sunday Feb 28th and we held a big birthday party for you at Grandma and Grandpa's house. You have so many people that love and care about you that over 50 people RSVP'd to come. We had a firetruck theme with baloons and streamers. Lots of pizzas and veggies and fruit. Your favorite part was the 'Dump Truck' cake that Grandma made for you. You were tentative at first with the cake but then discovered the cookies in the back, the graham crackers and finally the cake and frosting until it was everywhere. After cake, it was a quick bath and present time. You had no interest in opening the presents but Mommy and Daddy helped out. You finally started getting interested once they were unwrapped, especially when Daddy took out a sit on Firetruck toy and you crawled right into the box that it was in - you love boxes! You had a great time and we are so happy to have you in our lives. We love you baby Conner!
